I recently came across something that Inspired me and it gave me some more insight into what I would like to use for my advertising shoot coming up.As my chosen product is the Givenchy Illuminating powder, I wanted to use something in my styling that would be quite reflective and something that would represent light coming from that person.
I found a jewelled shoulder piece that I think would be interesting to use for my shoot as one of my options.
Having spoken to my photographer lecturer, I'm thinking to try the image in black and white in postproduction, as much of Givenchy's advertising images are in fact black and white however we will have to see how the images turn out! These images I found of Erykah Badu for Givenchy is how I would like my images to look, with a few more more black and white advertisement shots I found.

I love how simplistic these images are in terms of the set up, however they've both got eye catching detail (the image on the right in particular). I want my images to grab the attention of the audience much as Givenchy's images always do with a statement piece of jewellery etc.
I came across this two images whilst researching, and I really love the lighter image below. I think styling wise this would work with the idea of Spring/Summer 2016 and I could see this working for my lighter contrasting image (without the man!).
