LOCATION

With the growing need to find a suitable location for my editorial shots, I decided to research Givenchy's editoiral shots to see if I could find a common thread to explore for my final images.

I really love the idea of using natural light for my day look with around 3-5 models in a similar location to this below:

I'm hoping to use the same models for my day and night look spread over 2 days, day and evening. Having spoke to Simon in our lesson recently, I've decided to use natural light and reflectors for this look with a 20-30 lens as this is quite a wide shot and I'm hoping to achieve the same thing.

These past editorial shots really inspired me when thinking of my evening look and I realised I'm going to need to do a bit of exploring in the evening to find a location thats well lit to be able to shoot in the evening. I'm planning on doing these shoots at the end of the month as I need to style all of my models keeping with my black and white theme using silks, satins and lace. I've currently got 2 male models in mind at the moment alongside 2 models so need to confirm my last model.

I'm sort of thinking of having a black and white shot for my advertising although I think I'll choose between either colour or black and white in postproduction. This black and white shot above is the sort of layout I want and the shot on the left has an element of split screen which just inspired me.
