Second Catwalk Look

After the success of my first catwalk look I scouted a model in Tesco Express (believe it or not) which is apparently the new hit place to find models! I asked her to come in for the afternoon to shoot some behind the scenes type images for my second look.

This look is much darker than my first angelic white lace look which fits in with my Givenchy idea of religion, keeping your innocence, not letting the outside world dilute you as a person etc.

I really enjoyed taking these images as I could see my idea coming to life and loved how the mask I'd made looked on camera. We tried a few different looks with the gold rings in the top left hand image as Givenchy incorporated rings in their ready to wear catwalk looks, I wanted to use gold rings in the hair to symbolise a sense of being 'whole' and united with one another.

In postproduction I looked at my previous image and compared the two to make sure the same effects were used, in previous Givenchy backstage images (especially s/s16) the lighting was very soft and glowing and I tried to achieve a similar effect.
